Cystitis "Cystitis is a very common problem that many girls or women will get at some point in their lives. It is rare for boys/men to get it, and if they do, they should get themselves 'checked out' by a doctor. It is an inflammation (soreness) of the urethra (water passage, the tube your urine comes out of) and of the bladder (where your urine is stored). It is caused by bacteria."
